We started off in Yangon, the bustling capital city of Myanmar. We explored the city’s vibrant street life and its many markets and attractions. We also visited the revered Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world.

The next stop on our Myanmar travel guide was Bagan. Here, we explored the ancient temples, some dating back to the 9th century. We were in awe of the beauty and architecture of this ancient city. We also enjoyed a hot air balloon ride over the city, giving us a bird’s eye view of this incredible place.

Our journey continued to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano that towers above the landscape. Here, we enjoyed a hike up to the peak for the most stunning views of the surrounding area. We also had the chance to explore the many villages that dot the landscape.

Finally, we ventured to Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar. Here, we spent a few days exploring the lake’s many small villages, learning about the local culture, and indulging in the lake’s many activities. We also took a boat ride across the lake to see the incredible sunrise over the lake’s mystical islands.

At the end of our one week Myanmar itinerary, we returned to Yangon, feeling fulfilled and refreshed. We had seen some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world, and had the chance to experience the culture, history, and beauty of this amazing country.
